There is always room for improvement in MotoGP, there is constant evolution, and not even the two-time world champion is exempt from this path, with him admitting that there is one aspect in which he needs to improve more than any other: crashes.

The world champion has suffered some crashes that ended up boosting Jorge Martín’s confidence, and he has said more than once that this was an aspect to change, but not only that, as he clarified in a press conference, with the mental aspect also deserving some attention: ‘I would like to improve the level I had at the start of last season. At the beginning, I was always competitive, and after Barcelona, I lost some of that competitiveness. I had those good feelings again in the final part of the season, in the last three or four races, but I believe it’s something I need to improve. That’s the way.’

Still, it is in the aspect of crashes that he wants to see greater improvement: ‘Crashes… It’s something we don’t know, I hope not to fall during the races, and I was with [Franco] Morbidelli and Maverick [Viñales] among the riders with the fewest crashes, seven in the season, but the problem for me is that five of these seven were in races, and I think that’s something I need to improve.’
